TYPE OKB®
DESCRIPTION :
Properly sized U-shaped Edge Protectors Type OKB®
do not need gluing or fastening and offer protection as well
as some insulating qualities. Edge Protectors Type OKB®
are resistant to most chemicals, oils, acids, common cleaning
solvents and solutions. Edge Protectors Type OKB®
are self-extinguishing and successfully passed a full cycle
flammability tests conducted according to Underwriters Laboratories
Inc. standard UL 1581 method VW-1 as confirmed by a Test Report.
MATERIAL : PVC (polyvinyl chloride)
COLOUR : Black, white, red, grey, blue, yellow,
purple. Custom colours available upon request.
APPLICATIONS : Mechanical protection of wires,
cables, lines etc. Commonly used as grommets. Often applied
to finish rough and uneven glass and sheet metal edges, to seal
covers and access doors. Also used as a decorative finish to
edges.
THERMAL PROPERTIES : Temperature range - continuous
-30oC up to +70oC
FLAMMABILITY : Self-extinguishing - UL 1581:2001

TESTS AND CERTIFICATION : Meets the requirements of the European Directive 2015/863/EU (RoHS3) dated March 31, 2015 restricting the use of some substances within electrical and electronic equipment.
